As we mature in Christ, we should be able to close out the voices of the world that are contrary to God’s Word, and be led by the Holy Spirit. Even during this time of reset for The Church, however, how many of us have still not made a practice of “being still” in God’s presence? How many of us are still not hearing what God is speaking to His Church?
Repent and return back to your first love, and rest in My peace.
Be still and wait to hear My Voice. It is time to be awakened and united as one Church all for My glory.
Come away from the chaos and sit at My feet. Wait and worship in My presence for My divine instructions as your guide. I am pouring into vessels of pure hearts to help others be free to receive My love and salvation. I desire for My sons and daughters to live victoriously.
My Church is called as a voice to cities and nations, and as a repairer and restorer of the broken and desolate for all to see.
This is a time to awaken, arise and speak what the Holy Spirit says to release.
God may speak to us in a still, small voice, but then call us to declare boldly what His Word decrees. Do you believe God is calling for an awakening of His roaring lion – The Church – in worship, and speaking the Truth in love, boldness and humility?
The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1
But if I say I’ll never mention the Lord or speak in His name, His words burn like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it! Jeremiah 20:9
Many are still listening to the rebellious voices of culture over the roaring voice of God. Are we, as The Church, being used to call out complacency and compromise? Are we, as a Church, more interested in our comfort than the call to speak truth that breaks off lies, brings healing to hearts, and sets the captives free. Repentance leads to restoration and this still needs to be proclaimed today.
God’s thoughts and ways are so much higher than ours and everything is opposite in the kingdom of God. Give and it will be given to you. Lose your life and find it. Be still and know that I am God and I will be exalted among the nations. Rest and receive over working and doing to earn God’s love. Our righteousness in God is only received by faith and not by our works. Once received, however, it will be evident by our good works and our good words in line with the Word of God.
More, not less, prayer and worship is needed for such a time as this. More boldness to speak The Word of The Lord for this divine reset we are in. God is still speaking prophetically today, but just like there were false prophets as Jeremiah spoke of, we must be sure we are listening to the prophetic voices calling for returning to God’s higher ways. A passionate pursuit of purity and truth that leads to His Kingdom’s purpose is desperately needed for these unprecedented days. “If they had stood before Me and listened to Me, they would have spoken My words, and they would have turned My people from their evil ways and deeds.” Jeremiah 23:22
“Without the love of God (not merely church growth) and a love for people (not merely heads to count) at its core, religious enthusiasm can only ultimately inflict deep scars and permanent damage on the Christian witness in a community, city, or nation. The heartbeat of God throbs in the Good News to set the pulse-rate of those who take it to the lost world. It will set a human heart aflame with a love that gives itself constantly and never reverts to preoccupation with itself.” Reinhard Bonnke
What sorrow awaits my rebellious children, says the Lord. You make plans that are contrary to mine. You make alliances not directed by my Spirit, thus piling up your sins. Isaiah 30:1
Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel says: Return to Me. By returning and resting in Me you will be saved. In quietness and trust you will be made strong. But you refused. Isaiah 30:15 TPT
Yahweh, be gracious to us, for we wait for You. Be our strength every morning and rescue us when troubles come. The nations retreat at the sound of Your roaring voice. The nations scatter and You arise in Your majesty. Isaiah 33:2-3 TPT
Help us, Lord, to wait and listen to hear Your voice. Awaken us, guide us, strengthen us, unite us and then speak through us as Your Church for such a time as this. Amen.
