Unexpected Path Still Good

Ireland narrow road Monaghan

The longer I travel on this journey of faith with the Lord, the less I know about where His direction is leading.  One thing I have discovered is His path is usually never the road I presumed I would travel, nor the route I might prefer.  Nevertheless, His path is still always good and will ultimately lead to the course He has uniquely mapped out for me as I seek to follow Him to the final destination.

But He knows where I am going, and when He tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.  For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed His ways and not turned aside.  Job 23:10-11

Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.  Psalm 25:4

All the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and goodness and truth and faithfulness to those who Keep His covenant and His testimonies.  Psalm 25:10 (The Amplified Bible)
The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.  I will advise you and watch over you.  Psalm 32:8

Your road led through the sea; Your pathway through the mighty waters, a pathway no one knew was there!  Psalm 77:19

For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.  Isaiah 57:2

The Power of the Cross

After all is said and done, the power of the cross still remains.

The above photo was taken of the forged steel cross found in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001.  Read more about this cross in the Washington Post article entitled “9/11 memorials:  The  story of the cross found at Ground Zero” by clicking on the link below:

Still remembering and praying for the comfort, healing and peace of all those who lost friends and loved ones, and whose lives were forever changed.  #neverforget #groundzero #thecross

The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.  1 Corinthians 1:18
For God in all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through Him God reconciled everything to Himself.  He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.  Colossians 1:19-20

Open Door to Adversity

When God opens a door to use you in ministry, adversity should be expected.

For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. 1 Corinthians 16:9 (NKJV)

Still Determined

Despite daily demands, disappointments, discouragement, delays, devils, distractions, and detours, still determined to keep digging deeper, dreaming, discovering destiny, and devoting my all to the delight of The Dream Giver.

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.  Romans 8:37

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing:  forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.  Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things.  If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. Galatians 3:13-15

It takes a team…

… to complete a God-sized dream!

  • It takes commitment to be a part of a team.
  • It takes time to build a team.
  • It takes a team to build a dream.
  • No one ever accomplishes anything of significance alone.
  • TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More!
  • Is God calling you to be a part of a team?
  • Are you answering His call to follow Him?
  • Have you surrendered your whole heart and all that you are to be a part of God’s team in the earth?
  • Are you using your God-given gifts, talents, and resources for the purpose of seeing His kingdom advance (His kingdom come and His will be done in the earth…) for His glory and to influence the 7 streams of influence*:
  1. Church/Religious Community
  2. Government
  3. Arts & Entertainment
  4. Education
  5. Business
  6. Media
  7. Family
(6 of the above are predominately under the influence of the god of this world – 2 Corinthians 4:4)
