No Time Left for You

How can we expect to know God, when we don’t spend any time with Him?
“I got, got, got, got no time…”, and “there’s no time left for you…”, — remember these lyrics to the old song by The Guess Who?  These lyrics truthfully apply to many of us today when it comes to time for God.  Then, we wonder why we do not feel more connected with God or close to Him.  No relationship ever exists or grows more intimate without the element of spending time together.
This is what Jesus referred to as “abiding” in the Father God (John 15).  We can never know God or anything about His character, love, wisdom, etc., without spending time with Him.
