Our physical bodies crave more of what we feed it and this has been proven scientifically (i.e., eat more sugar – crave more sugar!). So it is true for our spiritual appetites too! Could it be that our spirits are so malnourished, we are starving or practically dead spiritually?
Many of us have no spiritual appetite, because we feed more consistently or, often, solely on daily diets of social media, games, entertainment, sports, shopping, etc., and regularly fast spiritual practices, such as prayer, quiet time, devotional reading, Bible study, and worship.
