The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit and part of our spiritual armor in our fight of faith.

🗡📖receive the Word,
🗡📖agree with the Word,
🗡📖strengthen our faith thru the Word,
🗡📖memorize the Word
🗡📖obey the Word,
🗡📖pray the Word,
🗡📖believe the Word,
🗡📖decree the Word,
🗡📖speak the Word,
🗡📖stand on the Word,
🗡📖and honor the Word of God above all other words and opinions,
…we have laid down a vital part of our armor.
🗡📖Without wielding our sword of the Word of God we are not in a position to live an overcoming life. Actually, in biblical times, swords were designed for killing the enemy. When we take up the sword of the Word of God, we defeat the enemy too.
How do we take up our sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God?
Taking up our sword of the Spirit goes beyond checking off a list of reading, memorizing, studying, and reciting the scriptures, even though these are good and necessary. First and foremost, we must remain fully surrendered to and in love with the God of the Word who became flesh, Jesus Christ our Lord. As we are submitted to God first and then walk out a lifestyle lived in submission to the Word of God, our faithful obedience empowers us to overcome and exercise our spiritual authority over all the power of the enemy.
The Word of God may not be popular or politically correct, but it is powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. It does heart surgery and severs ungodly strongholds. It silences the enemy’s voice.
God’s Word is the final word that will stand over every scheme of the evil one.
