Remembering in prayer the families and friends of the victims of September 11th and never forgetting.
Thank you to all first responders and true heroes who bravely and sacrificially served with courageous hearts on this terrible and tragic day of terror, loss, great suffering and mourning. Your courage and bravery is why America is still the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Praying this pivotal day of American history is being remembered and respectfully honored by all true patriots and freedom loving American citizens. Praying that those free to teach and serve in our USA education system are continuing to honor the memory of this day in our schools. May the next generation know and understand that liberty and freedom are not celebrated by all. When we remember the events of September 11th, 2001, we are reminded that the cowardly terrorists who attacked and murdered the innocent are not only enemies of freedom, but their intolerable hatred of our sweet land of liberty led to this day that no American should ever forget.
Even those of us who did not lose someone close to us still remember vividly the details of this horrific day 21 years ago. Reflecting and praying for those whose lives were directly affected by the shocking and grievous loss of family, friends and loved ones is the least we can do to honor our fellow Americans.
Upon visiting Ground Zero in 2016, I will never forget the tangible atmosphere of grief and the heaviness I felt. I could not hold back my tears, and today it still gives me chills just recalling that visit.
Father God, bring continued help, healing, comfort, peace, and strength from your Holy Spirit to all those whose lives were forever changed on this day. Amen.
