Last week was a WOW Week! Another WEEK OF WARFARE and a WEEK OF WITNESSING God pouring out His Spirit in the public schools! First, at Nichols Lawson Middle School on Friday, August 11th, and then again on Wednesday, August 16th, at Sylacauga High School. Mighty warfare always precedes breakthrough in the Spirit. God is moving mightily and He is moving in uncommon places. God is going to use the youth and He is going to use the arts too! Just as He did in this assembly! He is going to use the least likely and the unexpected ALL FOR HIS GLORY!
So shall they fear
The name of the Lord from the west,
And His glory from the rising of the sun;
When the enemy comes in like a flood,
The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19 NKJV)
“WOW!” This is the word that describes what we are seeing, and it’s the same word everyone says when I share this news and this pic! Our GOD IS A GOD of WOW! He desires to WOW us with HIS WAYS! Miracles, signs and wonders He still does in the SKIES, SUN, MOON, and STARS and on earth in the hearts of people. He MOVES as we pray, expecting Him to do ABOVE and BEYOND WHAT WE ARE ASKING OR EVEN IMAGINING (Ephesians 3:20-21). All that is required for us to see His WONDERFUL OMNIPOTENT WAYS is to pray, and expect Him to move, and to keep on praying, believing, and expecting Him as long as it takes to see God manifest His power and His glory for ALL to see! Many of us warriors are “Elijah like” weary, but be encouraged you weary worshiping warriors who have been praying and pressing MORE into God’s presence for many years through much mighty warfare! God is answering and He is moving. He is pouring out His Spirit on our sons and our daughters (Joel 2; Acts 2:17-28). This year, 2017, is a year of miracles, signs and wonders, and it is a year of God doing a NEW THING like we have never, ever seen.
*This was especially encouraging to me personally and to those of us who have not only prayed for many years for God to move powerfully through the arts, but, beyond our prayers, have planted seeds of time mentoring, teaching and inspiring young dancers. In our weariness, we thank You our Father God and Master Artist of all, for this breaking forth of what has been planted for the purpose of glorifying Your name and touching others with the presence of Your Spirit. Not to us, O Lord, but to Your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Amen. (Psalm 115:1)
It is a year of COMEBACK – prodigals coming back from the land of the enemy (Jeremiah 31:16-25), VICTORY over the enemy being allowed to steal, kill and destroy, and RESTORATION of territory that belongs to God’s people. God is bringing a restoration of LIFE, LOVE, Truth, freedom, peace and joy even in the midst of a culture where often the opposite is mostly on display in the media (John 10:10; Isaiah 61). These are the prophetic words that have been coming forth through God’s people who are truly listening to the Lord and not being moved by what they are looking at all around them (Amos 3:7).
As followers of Christ, we are supposed to be walking by faith and not by sight, and agreeing with God’s Word and what He says beyond what we see around us. We are supposed to be LISTENING to VICTORY even as we are often looking at defeat in the circumstances around us – that is, if we are people of FAITH and not FEAR (2 Timothy 1:7; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 11:1).
Of course, God is never obligated to “wow” any of us. Each day should bring a reminder of the many ways God has already wowed ALL of us through His glorious creation, the breath we breathe, and the amazing love, grace and mercy He has so lavishly poured out on us through His Son and His Spirit. May we never be guilty of not giving God praise, honor, and glory for all of His Wonderful Omniscient Ways – WOW! (Psalm 19:1-3; Romans 5:8; John 3:17)
If we will go ALL IN, WE WILL EXPERIENCE THE FATHER’S ALL CONSUMING LOVE AND POWER!
ALL PRAISE, HONOR, and GLORY to You our MIGHTY SAVIOR and LORD! You are MIGHTY to save! Your heart is for people. Give us Your heart. Forgive us for our pride, our compromising lifestyles, and our complacency. Forgive us for removing You from our schools, our workplaces, our homes, and, most of all, from our hearts. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our hearts, our homes, our schools, our workplaces, within our government, our communities, and in our nation. All glory, power, and honor to You forever Our Great God, Amen.

Arise, my people! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the Lord is streaming from you. Isaiah 43:5-21 (NLT):
“Do not be afraid, for I am with you.
I will gather you and your children from east and west.
I will say to the north and south,
‘Bring my sons and daughters back to Israel
from the distant corners of the earth.
Bring all who claim me as their God,
for I have made them for my glory.
It was I who created them.’”
Bring out the people who have eyes but are blind,
who have ears but are deaf.
Gather the nations together!
Assemble the peoples of the world!
Which of their idols has ever foretold such things?
Which can predict what will happen tomorrow?
Where are the witnesses of such predictions?
Who can verify that they spoke the truth?
“But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the Lord.
“You are my servant.
You have been chosen to know me, believe in me,
and understand that I alone am God.
There is no other God—
there never has been, and there never will be.
I, yes I, am the Lord,
and there is no other Savior.
First I predicted your rescue,
then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world.
No foreign god has ever done this.
You are witnesses that I am the only God,”
says the Lord.
“From eternity to eternity I am God.
No one can snatch anyone out of my hand.
No one can undo what I have done.”
This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“For your sakes I will send an army against Babylon,
forcing the Babylonians to flee in those ships they are so proud of.
I am the Lord, your Holy One,
Israel’s Creator and King.
I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters,
making a dry path through the sea.
I called forth the mighty army of Egypt
with all its chariots and horses.
I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned,
their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick.
“But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new.
