Unknown yet Well Known

Many of us seek to be known by men and have the applause of men, but it’s more important to be known by God and have the applause of Heaven.

Unknown to the masses, but known intimately by God is better than being known by the masses and unknown by the Father of all creation.

Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.  For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.  And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.  Colossians 3:2-4 (NLT)

Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life. When Christ (your real life, remember) shows up again on this earth, you’ll show up, too—the real you, the glorious you. Meanwhile, be content with obscurity, like Christ.  (Colossians 3:3-4 The Message)

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.  (Micah 6:8 NIV)
