Ponder – to think or consider something deeply and thoroughly, to weigh carefully in the mind, especially quietly and soberly; to meditate upon it or consider thoughtfully.
Thinking out loud from a Biblical perspective. It is good for us to ponder God’s Word and His Ways.
“How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in Him should ponder them.”
Psalm 111:2 NLT
“I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to follow Your laws.”
Psalm 119:59 NLT
“I remember the days of old. I ponder all Your great works and think about what You have done. I lift my hands to You in prayer. I thirst for You as parched land thirsts for rain.”
Psalm 143:5-6 NLT
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Philippians 4:8 (The Message)
May those who are wise think about these things;
may they consider the Lord’s constant love. Psalm 107:43
