We cannot be pitiful and joyful at the same time. I am not always Joyful Jenny. Sometimes I am down with Debbie. I have to spend more time with Jesus on these days. It’s not a quick fix. Perhaps you relate? Sometimes, instead of a praise dance party I have a pity pouting party and that leads to my “Joyful Jenny” name being hypocritical. Self pity always leads me away from the restoration of Joyful Jenny to digressing into the depressive “Debbie Downer” personality for sure.
Joy is our Inheritance!
Joy doesn’t just fall on us. It is like a seed planted within us. The seed of joy must be watered and cultivated in order for this fountain of joy to overflow.
Who’s “on” FIRST?
In this new year, do you desire something new? A better you? A better life? A better way of living? What do you do “first” every day? Do you PRAY first or WORRY first? Do you begin your day feasting on FEAR or FAITH? Do you wake up worshiping God with songs of praise or... Continue Reading →

Don’t be an “Esau”!
Esau desired food above his birthright, and refused to repent. How many of us are guilty of choosing the temporary pleasures of sin in exchange for God's offer of a covenant position in Christ? Are our "Esau-like" appetites for temporary pleasures causing us to settle for so much less than what God desires to bless us with?... Continue Reading →
The “Re” of God

Stop Playing Around & Choose Life!
The enemy of your soul is not playing around, so why are you? It's really naive to think you won't have to "fight the good fight of faith" to hold onto the seeds of revelation truth you have received from the Word of God. The thief, the enemy of your soul (satan, the father of lies,... Continue Reading →
Who’s writing your story?
Satan is the author of fear, lies, deception, and destruction. God is the author of faith, truth, freedom, and life. Which author is writing your story? (John 8:44; Revelation 12:9; 1 Peter 5:8; John 10:10; Romans 10:17; Hebrews 12:2; John 14:6; Luke 4:18-19)
Avoid or Embrace?
Often we avoid, disregard, and even mock and ridicule the people, values, tools, and environments that can help us to really live productive and fulfilling lives that influence not only our own lives, but also the culture in a positive manner, and instead, give more time, respect, applause, and even support to the people, values, and environments that lead to... The Way of Death
Most people would boldly tell you they are choosing life and would never choose the "way of death". However, when we live our daily lives only by what we think is right or wrong, outside of seeking guidance, knowledge, and wisdom from our Creator God and His Book of Life, we are choosing what seems...
