I Remember…
Remembering God’s faithfulness today after rupturing my left achilles tendon 14 years ago today on July 27, 2007. Thankful I can still walk, run, jump and dance — something that was not possible 14 years ago today! Thankful I could walk 5.5 miles one year ago today (on 7-27-20) and dance and teach choreography to... Continue Reading →
It’s about the Presence not Performance!
God is not calling us to perform for Him. God is calling us to be empowered by Him.
It’s Your Choice
We cannot be pitiful and joyful at the same time. I am not always Joyful Jenny. Sometimes I am down with Debbie. I have to spend more time with Jesus on these days. It’s not a quick fix. Perhaps you relate? Sometimes, instead of a praise dance party I have a pity pouting party and that leads to my “Joyful Jenny” name being hypocritical. Self pity always leads me away from the restoration of Joyful Jenny to digressing into the depressive “Debbie Downer” personality for sure.
A Joyful Prayer
From Joyful Jenny’s “Joy Like a Fountain” study - the joy of pressing on beyond complacency and compromise. Father God, forgive us when we grow weary and wimpy amidst the pain, pressures and problems of this life. We ask for a fresh baptism of Your Spirit to empower us, to fill us, to burn within... What does the presence of Jesus bring?
Several months ago, while reading John 20:19-23, I immediately “saw” something I had not seen before. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them!... Continue Reading →

By Our Love – We are One in The Spirit
If the true followers of Christ do not join in unity aligning with God’s Word, the world will not see that we are one in the Spirit. How will they know we are Christians by our love, if we do not walk as one in the spirit of His LOVE?
